Manifest FAQs

What is the difference between the Manifest Tour Shell and Freeride Shell?

The Manifest Tour Shell uses XERO™ 3-Layer Stretch Nylon — a lighter, more mobile fabric optimised for high-output ski touring and backcountry skiing, where breathability and packability matter most. The Manifest Freeride Shell uses XERO™ standard 3-Layer Nylon — a more durable, storm-focused fabric built for big mountain freeride conditions. Both are rated 20,000mm waterproof / 20,000g breathable with 100% sealed seams and PFC-free DWR.

Do Manifest jackets fit over a climbing harness?

Yes. The Manifest fit is designed to work with harnesses and packs. The regular athletic cut allows a harness to sit under the jacket, with the waist adjustment and detachable powder skirt working around leg loops.

What sizes are the Manifest jackets available in?

Men's Manifest jackets and bibs are available in XS to XXL. Women's Manifest jackets and bibs are available in XS to XL. See our full size guide for chest, waist, and height measurements.

Are Manifest jackets good for ski touring?

Yes. The Manifest Tour Shell Jacket was specifically designed for backcountry ski touring and splitboarding. It uses XERO™ 3-Layer Stretch Nylon for maximum mobility on the skin track, with underarm venting, a helmet-compatible hood, and YKK Aquaguard water-resistant zips. The mid-layer system — Polartec Alpha active insulation — is built for touring pace management.
